Wrap a strip of paper around your finger, mark where it overlaps, measure in mm. This is circumference. Or measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits. Use our chart to convert to standard sizes.
Average women's ring size is 6-7 (US) or L-N (UK). Average men's size is 9-10 (US) or R-T (UK). Ring fingers on dominant hands are usually slightly larger.
US sizes are numbers (3-13), EU uses circumference in mm (44-69). US 6 = EU 51.5, US 7 = EU 54, US 8 = EU 57. Our converter shows all systems instantly.
Wide bands (over 6mm) fit tighter because more metal contacts your finger. Size up by 0.5-1 size for wide bands. Thin bands may need sizing down. When in doubt, size up - you can always add a ring guard.
