Frequently Asked Questions

Resizing changes the overall dimensions of your entire image, making it larger or smaller while keeping all content. Cropping cuts out a portion of the image, removing parts you do not want. Use resize when you need a different size but want to keep everything in the image.

Enable "Maintain Aspect Ratio" to keep your image proportional. When you change the width, the height automatically adjusts (and vice versa) to prevent stretching. This ensures circles stay circular and squares stay square.

Common social media sizes: Instagram Post 1080x1080, Instagram Story 1080x1920, Facebook Post 1200x630, Twitter Post 1200x675, LinkedIn 1200x627, YouTube Thumbnail 1280x720, Pinterest 1000x1500. Our tool includes presets for popular platforms.

Reducing image size maintains quality because you are removing pixels. Enlarging images beyond original dimensions can reduce quality as the software must create new pixels. For best results when enlarging, use no more than 150% of original size.
